About Me

Hey, I'm Saimeet you can also call me Sai. I am a guitarist, bassist and music theory nerd. I picked up my first guitar over two decades ago and started playing in several bands and opened for some famous groups back in the day. While I loved playing on stage I also made sure I share my knowledge and teach new guitarists and other musicians as a progressed.

My mission is to help you grow as a guitarist/musician and holistically learn how guitar technique and music theory

How I can help you as a teacher.

I focus a lot of making these concepts simple. As a self taught guitarist I have noticed in today's world we have a lot of info but with guitar concepts presented in various ways sometimes with or without music theory but it can get complicated very quickly which makes most guitarists drop learning the instrument.

I am here to simplify that process and also bring in music theory at the right points as it help us connect the dots with the guitar techniques.

Connecting guitar techniques and music theory

I love music theory and have learnt to a deep extent over the several years but many guitarists don't learn it or even don't feel it necessary. In the beginning even I learnt mainly thought tabs and memorizing patters and solos of my favorite songs but after a while when I started composing songs I just repeated patterns from other songs, I couldn't improvise or make my music have its own unique sound. For those reasons I always include the theory because music theory is a language and when you play with any other musician on any instrument it helps you communicate with them.

My Method

My teaching method focuses on bringing in music theory at the right points and integrating it in the right way for guitarists as most music theory is not designed for guitarists. I pick a select the right music theory concepts and connect them to the guitar technique I am teaching.
